A diehard Middlesbrough FC fan was subject to "appalling" racial abuse during their last game against Watford.
Yusuf Jama has been described by fans as "the life and soul" of Middlesbrough football club.
He is at games home and away, regularly travelling 4 hours from his home in London to get to the Riverside Stadium.
A fundraiser has been launched which has already raised £255. All proceeds will be donated to the MFC Foundation Charity fund.

The Middlesbrough Supporters Forum put out a post in support of one of the club's biggest supporters.
It read: "We are shocked and disappointed to hear that Yusuf Jama was subjected to appalling racist abuse at Watford on Saturday.
"By so called fans! We condemn this in the strongest terms.
"If you know who was involved report them! This is unacceptable."
