WHAT'S THE NEWCASTLE TEAM NEWS?

Newcastle will be without Joelinton after the Brazilian midfielder returned from international break with a knee injury that will rule him out for a few weeks. The Magpies hope Sandro Tonali is ready to start against his former club after he was only deemed fit enough for the bench against Brentford. Joe Willock remains unavailable. Sven Botman returned against the Bees.

Eddie Howe must decide whether to tinker with his team after the Magpies stopped the rot and got back to winning ways. He has a decision to make up-front, with Callum Wilson having scored the winning goal at the weekend after he replaced Alexander Isak in the starting XI.

HOW ARE AC MILAN SHAPING UP?

AC suffered their first defeat of the season at the weekend as they were thumped 5-1 by fierce rivals Inter in the Milan derby.

But last season's beaten semi-finalists are experienced Champions League campaigners and have only been eliminated in the first round group stage once in their last 14 appearances in the competition.

This will be Milan's 20th UEFA Champions League campaign, the second most of any Italian side after Juventus.

England defender Fikayo Tomori will return after he was suspended for the Inter loss, but the home side will again be without defender Pierre Kalulu, while Ismael Bennacer while is a long-term absentee.
