DARLINGTON will start the new National League North season with a home game against Curzon Ashton.

Quakers will entertain Curzon at Blackwell Meadows on Saturday, August 5, with their opening away game of the new campaign taking them to Hereford United seven days later.

The first midweek game of the season sees Alun Armstrong’s side head to Scunthorpe United, who were relegated from the National League in May, on Tuesday, August 15, with the opening month of the campaign being completed with matches against Brackley, Alfreton and South Shields.

Darlington host Spennymoor Town on October 28, and face Scarborough Athletic in a festive double-header. Darlington head to Scarborough on Boxing Day, with the reverse fixture at Blackwell Meadows scheduled for New Year’s Day.

The away game with South Shields will take place on February 17, with Quakers due to head to the Brewery Field to take on Spennymoor on March 9.

The final home game of the season pits Darlington against Farsley Celtic, with the campaign ending with a trip to Chester on April 20.
