SUNDERLAND will head to Hartlepool United's Suit Direct Stadium for their final pre-season fixture.
The Black Cats will take on Pools, who will be spending next season in the National League following their relegation from League One, on Tuesday, August 1 (7.30pm).
The game falls in the week before the weekend that will mark the start of the new Football League season.
Sunderland will receive an allocation of 1,775 tickets for the away section of the Suit Direct Stadium, with sale details to be released in due course.
Sunderland begin their pre-season schedule with a double-header against South Shields and Gateshead on Saturday, July 8 before heading to the United States for a three-game tour that will see them take on San Antonio, New Mexico United and North Carolina.
