DARLINGTON's final game of the season on Saturday away to Peterborough Sports has been moved to Kettering Town's ground on the instructions of the league.

A Darlington statement read: "There is building work going on at the ground, which has significantly reduced their capacity. We would like to apologise to our fans for the inconvenience this will cause, but the situation has been entirely out of our control."

Quakers travelled to Kettering only last month, drawing 0-0.

Darlington's poor form - one win in 16 games - has seen them tumble down the table to 13th, one place ahead of Peterborough Sports.
