With 11 games to go, the Championship promotion race is hotting up.

Middlesbrough are pushing for a top two spot and Sunderland are still hoping to force their way back into the play-off mix.

There are bound to be plenty of twists and turns in the weeks to come, but how do the run-ins compare?

We run through the fixture list for the teams in the top 11, from Burnley down to the Black Cats, and compare who has the kindest and most difficult set of fixtures:

1) Burnley

Wigan (h) - Saturday, March 11

Hull (a) - Wednesday, March 15

Sunderland (h) - Friday, March 31

Middlesbrough (a) - Friday, April 7

Sheffield United (h) - Monday, April 10

Reading (a) - Saturday, April 15

Rotherham (a) - Tuesday, April 18

QPR (h) - Saturday, April 22

Blackburn (a) - Tuesday, April 25

Bristol City (a) - Saturday, April 29

Cardiff (h) - Monday, May 8

Avg position of remaining opponents: 13.1

Verdict: Burnley are away and gone at the top and are on their way back to the Premier League. They may well have a big say on who joins them, mind, with successive games against Boro and Sheffield United early next month.

2) Sheffield United

Luton Town (h) - Saturday, March 11

Sunderland (a) - Wednesday, March 15

Norwich City (a) - Saturday, April 1

Wigan Athletic (h) - Friday, April 7

Burnley (a) - Monday, April 10

Cardiff City (h) - Saturday, April 15

Bristol City (h) - Tuesday, April 18

Huddersfield Town (a) - Saturday, April 22

West Brom (h) - Tuesday, April 25

Preston (h) - Saturday, April 29

Birmingham (a) - Monday, May 8

Avg position of remaining opponents: 13.0

Verdict: The real challenge for Sheffield United comes in the next month. Their next three games are all against promotion hopefuls and then after the visit of bottom club Wigan comes a trip to Burnley. After that the run-in looks relatively kind on paper, but what shape will they be in after the Turf Moor trip?

3) Middlesbrough

Swansea City (a) - Saturday, March 11

Stoke City (h) - Tuesday, March 14

Preston (h) - Saturday, March 18

Huddersfield (a) - Saturday, April 1

Burnley (h) - Friday, April 7

Bristol City (a) - Monday, April 10

Norwich (h) - Saturday, April 15

Hull City (h) - Wednesday, April 19

Luton Town (a) - Saturday, April 22

Rotherham (a) - Saturday, April 29

Coventry (h) - Monday, May 8

Avg position of remaining opponents: 12.1

Verdict: Boro's run-in is not without its challenges but Michael Carrick's side have home comforts, with games against rivals Burnley, Norwich and Coventry all at the Riverside. The trip to Luton is the only away game against a team currently in the top half.

4) Blackburn

Stoke (a) - Friday, March 10

Reading (h) - Wednesday, March 15

Birmingham (a) - Saturday, April 1

Norwich (h) - Friday, April 7

Huddersfield (a) - Monday, April 10

Hull City (h) - Saturday, April 15

Coventry (h) - Wednesday, April 19

Preston (a) - Saturday, April 22

Burnley (h) - Tuesday, April 25

Luton (h) - Saturday, April 29

Millwall (a) - Monday, May 8

Avg position of remaining opponents: 11.4

Verdict: Blackburn are refusing to go away but their finish is tough, with their last five games all against sides currently in the top half. They also have improving Hull to play and in-form Norwich.

5) Luton Town

Sheffield United (a) - Saturday, March 11

Bristol City (h) - Wednesday, March 15

Sunderland (a) - Saturday, March 18

Watford (h) - Saturday, April 1

Millwall (a) - Friday, April 7

Blackpool (h) - Monday, April 10

Rotherham (a) - Saturday, April 15

Reading (a) - Wednesday, April 19

Boro (h) - Saturday, April 22

Blackburn (a) - Saturday, April 29

Hull City (h) - Monday, May 8

Avg position of opponents: 10.8

Verdict: Luton are going to have to beat rivals on the road if they want to secure a top six spot, with tough trips to four. The coming weeks look pivotal, with four of the next five against top half sides.

6) Norwich City

Sunderland (h) - Sunday, March 12

Huddersfield (a) - Wednesday, March 15

Stoke City (a) - Saturday, March 18

Sheffield United (h) - Saturday, April 1

Blackburn (a) - Friday, April 7

Rotherham (h) - Monday, April 10

Boro (a) - Saturday, April 15

QPR (a) - Wednesday, April 19

Swansea (h) - Saturday, April 22

West Brom (a) - Saturday, April 29

Blackpool (h) - Monday, May 8

Verdict: Avg position of opponents: 13.1

Norwich are in-form and, on paper, their run-in doesn't look too difficult. Six of their remaining 11 games are against sides currently 16th and below in the table. There are very tough trips to Blackburn, Boro and West Brom to negotiate, though.

7) Millwall

Reading (a) - Saturday, March 11

Swansea (h) - Tuesday, March 14

Huddersfield (h) - Saturday, March 18

West Brom (a) - Saturday, April 1

Luton (h) - Friday, April 7

Hull (a) - Monday, April 10

Preston (h) - Saturday, April 15

Birmingham (h) - Tuesday, April 18

Wigan (a) - Saturday, April 22

Blackpool (a) - Saturday, April 29

Blackburn (h) - Monday, May 8

Avg position of opponents: 14.9

Verdict: Millwall have been knocking on the top six door for years and the run-in provides a great opportunity for Gary Rowett's side. They face the current bottom three and only three of the current top 10.

8) Coventry City

Hull (h) - Saturday, March 11

Wigan (a) - Tuesday, March 14

Blackpool (a) - Saturday, March 18

Stoke (h) - Saturday, April 1

Swansea (a) - Friday, April 7

Watford (h) - Monday, April 10

QPR (a) - Saturday, April 15

Blackburn (a) - Wednesday, April 19

Reading (h) - Saturday, April 22

Birmingham (h) - Saturday, April 29

Boro (a) - Monday, May 8

Avg position of opponents: 14.9

Verdict: Like Millwall, Coventry have a run-in that looks kind compared to some of their rivals. They face four of the bottom six and only three of the top 10, though they won't fancy leaving themselves needing a result on the last day when they face a trip to the Riverside.

9) West Brom

Huddersfield (h) - Saturday, March 11

Cardiff (a) - Wednesday, March 15

Millwall (h) - Saturday, April 1

Rotherham (a) - Friday, April 7

QPR (h) - Monday, April 10

Stoke (a) - Saturday, April 15

Blackpool (a) - Tuesday, April 18

Sunderland (h) - Saturday, April 22

Sheffield United (a) - Tuesday, April 25

Norwich (h) - Saturday, April 29

Swansea (a) - Monday, May 8

Avg position of opponents: 14.8

Verdict: There are opportunities for the Baggies in the run-in but if they're to gatecrash the top six they'll need to improve on the road. They've only won five times on their travels this season and six of their 11 remaining games are away from home.

10) Watford

QPR (a) - Saturday, March 11

Birmingham (h) - Tuesday, March 14

Wigan (h) - Saturday, March 18

Luton (a) - Saturday, April 1

Huddersfield (h) - Friday, April 7

Coventry (a) - Monday, April 10

Bristol City (h) - Saturday, April 15

Cardiff City (h) - Wednesday, April 19

Hull (a) - Saturday, April 22

Sunderland (a) - Saturday, April 29

Stoke (h) - Monday, May 8

Avg position of opponents: 15.8

Verdict: On paper Watford have the easiest run-in of any of the sides in the top 11, but can Chris Wilder spark an immediate upturn in four after a run of just one win in eight cost Slaven Bilic his job? The Hornets only face one team - rivals Luton - currently above them in the table.

11) Sunderland

Norwich (a) - Sunday, March 12

Sheffield United (h) - Wednesday, March 15

Luton (h) - Saturday, March 18

Burnley (a) - Friday, March 31

Hull (h) - Friday, April 7

Cardiff (a) - Monday, April 10

Birmingham (h) - Saturday, April 15

Huddersfield (h) - Tuesday, April 18

West Brom (a) - Saturday, April 22

Watford (h) - Saturday, April 29

Preston (a) - Monday, May 8

Avg position of opponents: 11.09

Verdict: On the back of three straight defeats, Sunderland have a brutal-looking run with the next four opponents all currently residing in the top six. And it doesn't get much easier,  with the final three games are all against top half sides.
