MICHAEL Carrick has named an unchanged team for the visit of Blackpool, with Paddy McNair continuing in defence and Dael Fry on the bench.
Fry missed last week's game through suspension after his red card against Sunderland and McNair impressed in the 2-0 win over Watford. And the Northern Ireland international has kept his place alongside Darragh Lenihan at the heart of the backline.
Cameron Archer continues up-front for Boro, while new signing Dan Barlaser is in the squad, but has to settle for a place on the bench.
Aaron Ramsey is not yet ready to be involved as he works his way back from December knee surgery.
Mick McCarthy has made two changes to his Blackpool team in his first league game in charge of the Seasiders.
