SUNDERLAND forward Amad Diallo has won the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month award for the Championship for December.
Amad, who is on a season-long loan at the Stadium of Light from Manchester United, scored three goals in the month, including an outstanding 30-yard strike in a 4-1 win away at Wigan Athletic.
Diallo received 35 per cent of the public vote to win December’s award, beating fellow nominees Ross Stewart (Sunderland), Chuba Akpom (Middlesbrough), James McAtee (Sheffield United), Viktor Gyökeres (Coventry City) and Iliman Ndiaye (Sheffield United).
The PFA and Vertu Motors have also announced December's other winners from the Premier League, WSL, League One, and League Two.
Those winners are Erling Haaland (Manchester City), Laura Coombs (Manchester City), Marvin Johnson (Sheffield Wednesday), and Owen Moxton (Carlisle United).
