JOELINTON has been named in Newcastle United's starting line-up for this afternoon's Premier League game with Fulham despite having been arrested for drink-driving earlier this week.

The Brazilian forward was arrested in the early hours on Thursday morning, and is due to appear in front of magistrates in Newcastle later this month.

However, Eddie Howe has opted to keep him in the starting line-up as Fulham visit St James' Park.

With Joelinton remaining in the side, Howe has named an unchanged line-up from Tuesday's Carabao Cup win over Leicester City.

That means both Allan Saint-Maximin and Alexander Isak once again remaining on the substitutes' bench, with Joelinton and Miguel Almiron set to play on either side of Callum Wilson.

Former Newcastle striker Aleksandar Mitrovic is named in Fulham's starting side after missing the Cottagers' win over Chelsea on Thursday evening because of a suspension.
