DARLINGTON will start the new National League North season with a home game against Gloucester City.

Quakers will host Gloucester at Blackwell Meadows in their opening fixture of the new campaign on Saturday, August 6.

Alun Armstrong's side then head out on the road for back-to-back away matches at Chorley and Southport.

The trip to the Brewery Field to take on Spennymoor comes early in the season on August 27, and Darlington will be at home on Boxing Day taking on National League North newcomers Scarborough Athletic.

The away game at Scarborough forms part of a festive double-header on New Year's Day, and Darlington's final home game of the season will see them host King's Lynn on April 22.

The campaign then ends with a trip to league new-boys Peterborough Sports on April 29.
