Sunderland have mapped out their pre-season which includes Portugal trip.
SUNDERLAND will head out to Portugal for a week long training camp as part of their pre-season preparations for the 2022/23 Championship season.
The Black Cats will report back for pre-season in just less than a month’s time on 22nd June where they will firstly play a number of behind-close-doors friendlies before jetting to Portugal for two friendly fixtures.
Once their pre-season trip to Portugal has been completed, their will complete four more friendlies before the start of the season on July 30th. Details of Sunderland’s fixture list will be released by the EFL on Thursday June 23rd.
There will be no friendly fixture played at the Stadium of Light over the summer months due to concerts organised at the ground.
