MIDDLESBROUGH face arguably their biggest game of the season to date against in form Huddersfield Town and Chris Wilder sees it as an opprtune time to get their home form 'back on track'.

Aside from their last two results at the Riverside Stadium, Boro had won their last eight home games in the league. However, the Terriers have lost just one away game since November in a run of form that's taken them up to third in the table.

Boro have five games left to earn their place in the play-offs and give themselves a chance of Premier League promotion. The draw against Bournemouth has built the platform and now the Boro boss wants to use their home advantage to get an important result.

“They’re all huge now when you get into it and how tight it is at the top" said the Boro boss. "But we were looking for a big weekend and we’ve got the first part of the job done.

"Now hopefully we can kick on into Monday. We understand the task ahead and respect the results that Huddersfield have had. But for me, we’ve turned Bournemouth over at our place, we’ve turned Forest over at home and we’ve obviously had an incredible cup result there too (against Spurs).

"So, we can produce, but we understand we will have to be at our best. Our home record until recently has been good and we need to get that back on track.”

Wilder will have a number of decisions to make ahead of the game. Matt Crooks serves the first game of his three match suspension for picking up his 15th yellow card of the season and will need to be replaced.

Meanwhile, Boro have been assessing the fitness of Dael Fry who missed the draw on the south coast with a calf injury.
