CHRIS WILDER has revealed that Middlesbrough physio Chris Moseley was struck by a missile during this afternoon’s goalless draw with Millwall.

Moseley is understood to have given a statement to the police after he was struck by something thrown from the crowd at the Den.

An announcement over the tannoy during the second half of today’s game warned supporters the players would leave the field if there were further instances of things being thrown onto the field.

However, the game was played out without any further issues, with Boro’s players digging deep to secure a point.

Wilder said: “I think the physio got struck by something. I’ve got to say, I was too busy to really say, but I think there was a situation with the police, where our physio wanted to give a statement

“I was too engrossed in the game because it was that type of game, you couldn’t really take your eye off it. I think he’s okay.

“It’s an intimidating atmosphere. It always is a tough place to come. You’re coming to the business end of the season. They’re in the mix, and we’re in the mix too with that result.”
