JUST 24 hours after making his first signing of the transfer window, Danny Wilson yesterday put four of his Hartlepool United players up for transfer.

After Alan Thompson arrived on loan from Leeds United, Antony Sweeney, Ian Moore, Ali Gibb and Lee Bullock have been told they can leave Victoria Park.

While the exit of Gibb and Bullock is no suprise, the potential departures of Sweeney and Moore is.

Sweeney is attracting interest from Doncaster. He is out of contract in the summer, but Pools will continue contract negotiations despite putting him up for sale.

Wilson remains hopeful he will sign new terms, and Sweeney scored Pools' fourth goal in Tuesday's 4-3 win over Southend United. Moore has nine goals to his name this season since moving from Leeds United last summer.

He was dropped for Tuesday's victory - Pools' first win in seven games.

Moore's family have remained at their North-West home while the striker moved to the North- East and Wilson cited the difficulties encountered in travelling each day as the reason Moore wants a move, possibly to Tranmere, where his father Ronnie is manager. Chester boss Bobby Williamson has also been credited with interest in the former £1m front man.

Sweeney is Pools' secondlongest serving player, making his debut in 2001 after progressing through the youth ranks.

Tuesday's goal was his 28th goal in 177 appearances. Moore has netted nine times this season, including his 100th career goal.

Gibb is currently on loan at Notts County, while Bullock is at Bradford City, his third spell away from Pools this season.
