SUNDERLAND made their fourth signing of the month last night when striker Rade Prica completed a £2m move from Danish club Aalborg AB, writes SCOTT WILSON.

Prica, a 27-year-old Sweden international, has signed a threeand- a-half-year deal at the Stadium of Light and will be available for next Tuesday's Premier League home game against Birmingham.

The striker bolsters a Black Cats squad that has also been swelled by the arrival of Jonny Evans, Phil Bardsley and Jean- Yves M'voto during the current transfer window.

"Rada is an experienced striker with a good scoring record,"

said Sunderland boss Roy Keane. "He's hungry to play in the Premier League and will give us attacking options."

Prica began his career with his hometown club, Ljungby, before scoring 27 goals in 73 games for Helsingborgs after joining the Swedish club in 1998.

He signed for German side Hansa Rostock in 2002, scoring 20 goals in 113 games, before moving to Aalborg in July 2006, where he has hit 28 goals in 48 appearances.

Prica also boasts 13 international caps for Sweden and could yet be joined at Sunderland by Reading's Stephen Hunt. The Royals turned down a £4.5m offer but Black Cats officials are understood to have been back in touch yesterday.
