MIDDLESBROUGH and Hartlepool United have been handed Premier League teams in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Boro will face the winners of either Manchester United or Aston Villa away from home after beating Mansfield 3-2 in a dramatic game at Field Mill. United and Villa face each other tomorrow night in the final third round tie.

As for Hartlepool United, they face a trip to top flight Crystal Palace as a reward for beating Championship side Blackpool 2-1 at the Suit Direct Stadium.

Pools famously shocked Palace in an FA Cup tie in 1993 winning 1-0 on the day.

The games will be played on the weekend of Saturday 5th February.

Subsequently, Boro’s home game against Fulham in the Championship will now be arranged along with Hartlepool United’s League Two tie against Mansfield at the Suit Direct Stadium.
