MIDDLESBROUGH have parted company with manager Neil Warnock.
The decision has brought an end to his 17 month stay with the club where he was appointed in June 2020 following Jonathan Woodgate’s sacking.
Warnock’s final game in charge was their 1-1 draw with promotion chasing West Brom.
The 72-year-old confirmed he was told of Chairman Steve Gibson’s decision at 10am this morning that the club is to go in a different direction.
Warnock also told the media that there is a new man in place to take over the position in the dugout and he expects that appointment to be officially announced on Tuesday.
