MIDDLESBROUGH have made four changes for their trip to West Brom with Grant Hall and Martin Payero making a return to the starting line-up.

The centre half has been recovering from a thigh problem he picked up in training before Boro's loss to Hull City before the international break.

Meanwhile, Martin Payero missed the midweek trip to Luton Town with a calf problem but has passed a fitness test in time to be involved at the Hawthorns.

Duncan Watmore and Lee Peltier have been named in the starting line-up at the expense of some surprise omissions from the Boro team.

Striker Andraz Sporar, who’s Boro’s joint top scorer this season, and winger Onel Hernandez drop to the bench. Anfernee Dijksteel drops completely out of the matchday squad presumably due to an aggravation to his hamstring injury while Matt Crooks is suspended due to picking up five yellow cards this season.

Former Boro player Adam Reach has been named in West Brom’s starting line up while former striker Jordan Hugill is on the bench.

Neil Warnock’s men are looking to avoid a third consecutive defeat after recent losses to Birmingham City and Luton Town.
