MIDDLESBROUGH are reeling from back-to-back defeats after being beaten by three goals to one against Luton Town last night.

Three quickfire goals from Sonny Bradley, Elijah Adebayo and Harry Cornick killed Boro off in the second half after Josh Coburn's opener.

Digtal Sports Writer Matty Jones was watching the game at Kenilworth Road.

BORO XI:

6 Daniels – Conceded three in five minutes. Not much he could do but didn’t help the cause.

5 Dijksteel – Looked out of sorts at right centre-back. Perhaps not reached match fitness.

7 Bamba – Brilliant in the first half but played his part in more quickfire goals.

6 McNair – Had a great first half and could only do so much to keep out the second blocking the initial effort.

6 Howson – Kept things ticking over in the midfield but struggled in the second half.

5 Crooks – Lost his marker for the first goal and got booked meaning he’s suspended for West Brom. A bad night.

5 Tavernier – Inadvertently slipped in Cornick for the third goal and decision making was off again.

6 Hernandez – Tried to make things happen with his skill and pace but was subbed again in the second half.

7 Jones – A good performance from the youngster. Always looked a threat on the right hand side.

7 Coburn – Did really well under the circumstances and got his goal on what will have been a special night.

6 Sporar – Set up Coburn’s goal but was once again feeding off scraps. A game of few chances for the Slovenian.

Subs:

6 Watmore 68’ – Provided some energy but could do little to get Boro back into the game.
