SUNDERLAND’S League One game against Lincoln City, scheduled to be played over the international break, has been postponed.
The Black Cats are expected to have a number of first team players called up for their respective nations including the likes of Tom Flanagan, Corry Evans, Callum Doyle and Dennis Cirkin.
There has been plenty of talk surrounding Ross Stewart and his potential call up to the senior Scotland squad for the first time.
It means that Lee Johnson’s side should only have one game to play during the international break. Bradford City are their opponents in the Papa John’s Trophy on Tuesday 9th November.
There has been no confirmation over a rearranged date for their League One tie with Lincoln at the Stadium of Light.
