SUNDERLAND'S postponed Papa John's Trophy group game against Manchester United's Under 21's has a new date.
The Black Cats will face the young Red Devils, managed by Neil Wood, on Wednesday 13th October at the Stadium of Light for a 7pm kick-off.
The game was rearranged due to the shortage of players from Sunderland due to the first international break of the season.
Lee Johnson is due to ring the changes in for tomorrow night's cup tie against Lincoln City as they begin the defence of last season's trophy win.
The Black Cats boss has said a number of players are due to get their chance tomorrow night with a mixture of youngsters and senior players set to be selected for the game at Sincil Bank.
