MIDDLESBROUGH could throw their latest signings straight in from the off for the trip to Coventry City tomorrow afternoon, Neil Warnock has confirmed.

Boro ended the last week of the transfer window with the loan signing of winger Onel Hernandez from Norwich City while Sporting Lisbon striker Andraz Sporar and Rennes midfielder James Lea-Siliki both sealed loan moves on transfer deadline day.

Sporar and Lea-Siliki jetted off on international duty with Slovenia and Cameroon respectively shortly after putting pen-to-paper and only had their first training sessions with Boro on Thursday as they arrived into Rockliffe.

Warnock will have plenty of options available to him for the trip to the Ricoh Arena with his plethora of new signings and despite their short time at the club, he says he’s liked what he’s seen from his deadline day recruits.

“I think they’ve given everybody a lift really. It’s lovely when you get new faces in.

“We have been a bit short of numbers but to see the lads come in and see the way that they’ve fitted in. The last two, Andraz and James, they didn’t come in until Thursday morning and then they had to do a home office thing for the visa so it was a bit complicated and we had to put training back.

“But they had a good session and then they are going to have one today.

“We went through a few tactical things you know, what we’re looking at and what we’re looking for in their positions so it give us a chance to let them know what we’ve about.

“I’ve only seen one session yesterday. They’ve not had a lot of minutes and we haven’t had chance to do fitness.

“We wanted a blank week, probably the week after next, where we’d so how far they are up with us when they are all measured up.

“We have to be a little bit careful until they do that because we don’t really know the levels but I think they can definitely be involved and I’m sure they can have an impact."

Meanwhile, Boro are sweating on the fitness of Marc Bola who is being assessed by the club's staff in training.

Bola picked up a knock in the 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers beofre the international break.
