LEON Dajaku has completed his move to Sunderland on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old has moved to Wearside temporarily after completing a permanent move to German side Union Berlin from Bayern Munich.
The winger has made two appearances for the German champions after signing in 2019 but has also featured for Stuttgart and Union Berlin during a loan spell.
He becomes the first confirmed signing on transfer deadline day with the club expected to announce goalkeeper Ron-Thorben Hoffman in a matter of hours.
Dajaku said: “I always looked to the football in England and I always wanted to come here, so when I heard I could, it felt like the right step.
"I’ve seen some of the games and its crazy how many fans come in the first division, but this – having the fans push you – is what I like.
"It feels very good to sign for Sunderland and I’m very proud to be here.”
