SUNDERLAND'S Jack Diamond has agreed a deal to re-join League Two side Harrogate Town.
Diamond played for Harrogate when they promotion from the National League two seasons ago, and is set to head back to the North Yorkshire club on a season-long loan.
A number of other League Two clubs also made approaches for the youngster, but once it became clear he would be leaving Sunderland, Diamond's preference was always to rejoin Harrogate.
The 21-year-old forced his way into the first team under Lee Johnson in the second half of last season, but has struggled for game time in the current campaign.
He started both of the Black Cats' Carabao Cup games, but did not even make the matchday squad for Saturday's league win over Wycombe.
