Sunderland have annouced their third friendly fixture ahead of the start of pre season in just under two weeks.
The Black Cats will go to League Two Harrogate Town on Saturday 24th July for a friendly tie.
The Yorkshire side were promoted back in 2020 and avoided relegation in their first season in the Football League.
Lee Johnson's side will also face non league York City and Spennymoor Town, with the tie against the Moors coming first on July 3rd.
Sunderland and Harrogate Town have never met in a competitive game before. There's been no confirmation whether fans will be able to attend the game at the EnviroVent Stadium.
Meanwhile, Sunderland will discover there League One fixture list on Thursday along with their opponents in the Carabao Cup and Papa John's Trophy.
The Black Cats are defending the Papa John's Trophy next season after their Wembley victory over Tranemere Rovers last year.
