Young Middlesbrough goalkeeper Zach Hemmings will begin next season north of the border ahead joining Kilmarnock on loan until the end of next season.
The 21-year-old is yet to make a senior appearance for Boro and will look to gain first-team experience in the Scottish Championship side after their relegation from the Premiership last season.
Hemmings has previously spent time on loan at Hartlepool United, Darlington and Blyth Spartans.
He'll join up with Kilmarnock subject to the relevant clearances being received. Their season begins on July 10th in the Scottish League Cup against East Kilbride.
Boro goalkeeping coach Ian Bennett said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for Zach to go and enhance his development and to take on and meet new challenges.”
For Boro, it means that new signing Joe Lumley, Sol Brynn and Brad James are there current first-team goalkeepers.
James recently performed heriocs in Hartlepool United's National League play-off final win beating Torquay United in the final on penalties.
