PATRICK ROBERTS has left Middlesbrough after his loan from Manchester City was cut short.
Roberts will spend the second half of the season on loan at Derby County after Boro boss Neil Warnock agreed to allow the winger to leave Teesside.
The former England youth international has struggled to force his way into the first-team picture this season after returning to Boro following a previous loan spell in the second half of last term.
Roberts was allowed to leave once today's deals for Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and Neeskens Kebano were in place.
