HARTLEPOOL United have added to their squad, with the signing of striker Aidan Keena from Hearts.
The Republic of Ireland Under-21 forward has signed a permanent deal at Victoria Park, with Luke James ruled out for the season with a groin injury and Gime Toure serving a three-game ban.
He moved to Hearts in from St Patricks Athletic in 2017, moved to Queen’s Park on loan this time last year and netted eight goals in 16 games.
After making his Hearts debut, he went to Dunfermline, scoring five times in 12 games and netted for Hearts in the Scottish FA Cup last February.
Pools need international clearance for the 20-year-old before he can make his debut.
