DARLINGTON and Spennymoor Town have both been handed away games in the second qualifying round of the FA Cup.

Darlington will head to Northern Premier North West side Trafford on Saturday, September 21 hoping to improve on their wretched recent record in the FA Cup’s qualifying stages.

Trafford, who are languishing in 17th position in the Northern Premier North West table after winning just one of their opening five league games, booked their place in the second qualifying round when they beat Bamber Bridge 3-0.

Spennymoor will discover the identity of their opponents later this week as they have been drawn away to either Lancaster City or Northwich Victoria. The two sides played out a goalless draw in the first qualifying round on Saturday.
