PLAYING two games inside three days and both in high temperatures means Darlington manager Alun Armstrong is contemplating whether to make changes today.

His side drew 1-1 at Altrincham on Saturday, and this afternoon face Bradford Park Avenue at Blackwell Meadows (3pm) when Quakers aim to continue their good home form.

“It will have taken a lot out of the players, but hopefully it’ll have been the same for Bradford,” said Armstrong in refence to Saturday’s match.

“I’ve got to think, do I make changes, or do I let the lads give me as much as they can and then see how it goes.

“It’s nice to have that option, because everyone on that bench can go on and do a job no problem whatsoever.”

Stephen Thompson limped off on Saturday with cramp, but feels he will be fine today.

Darlington have won two of their three matches at Blackwell, drawing the other, while Bradford have had a torrid start to the season, losing matches 5-0, 5-0, 3-0 and 4-0.

On Saturday the West Yorkshire outfit drew 0-0 at home to fellow strugglers Blyth Spartans.
