Middlesbrough and Newcastle United have been handed home draws in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Boro’s reward for overcoming Peterborough United on Saturday is to face League Two side Newport County at the Riverside Stadium.

Newport - where Boro boss Tony Pulis is from - were the conquerors of Premier League club Leicester City on Sunday afternoon.

Newcastle will also be on home soil again if they can defeat Blackburn at Ewood Park in their replay next Tuesday. The Magpies have been paired with top-flight opponents Watford at St James’ Park.

The ties will be played over the weekend of January 25.
