MEMBERS of the Middlesbrough Supporters Forum(MSF) have been invited by Derby County Football Club for a tour of the concourse heating system that has been such a success among fans.
The MSF is keen to see similar comforts be afforded to Boro fans at the Riverside.
Chris Joseph, Chair of the MSF said: “We put concourse heating on the agenda in our early monthly meetings with MFC, and we’re looking to turn up the heat with our fact finding tour of DCFC.
"As well as the obvious advantages, we will be asking questions about installation and running costs and any discernible increases in revenue at bars and kiosks etc. since installation.
"We’re living in the 21st century where you can control heating on a mobile phone. It’s cold up here on Teesside and we know it would be a great hit with our fans. We’re looking forward to a warm reception at Derby when we play them on New Year’s Day.”
