How did the players fare in Sunderland's abandoned game at Accrington Stanley?

ACCRINGTON STANLEY (4-4-2):

Ripley 6; Johnson 6, Hughes 6, Sykes 7, Anderton 6; Clark 7, McCONVILLE 7, Finley 7, Barlaser 6; Kee 5 (Hall, 46, 7), Zanzala 7 (Charman, 68)

Subs (not used): Maxted (gk), Richards-Everton, Brown, Mingoia, Conneely

SUNDERLAND (4-3-3):

6 McLaughlin: Spilled the ball for Accrington equaliser but well off his line to deny McConville just before the abandonment

5 Matthews: Lasted just 18 minutes before succumbing to an impact injury

6 Baldwin: Generally coped well but the conditions got the better off him with his error for the equaliser

7 Flanagan: Excellent recovery when Zanzala threatened just before break and just got the better of a good duel with the Accrington striker

6 James: Got a good block on the goalline in the lead up to Accrington's equaliser but couldn't make much impact going forward

6 Honeyman: Would have liked to see him on the ball a little bit more

6 Power: Struck first-half shot well but just wide. Held things together well

6 Gooch: Put a half-chance well wide in first half

7 McGeady: Hard to carry the ball in the conditions. Fired good opportunity over in first half and through ball to Maguire brought a chance which clipped the bar

6 Maja: Looked dangerous when he was involved but that just wasn't enough and replaced just after the hour

7 MAGUIRE: Superb desire to close the keeper down for his goal, even if the clearance may have hit his arm. Used the outside of his foot nicely to clip the bar with another chance

Subs

6 Oviedo (for Matthews 18): A tidy display after emerging from the bench into difficult conditions

5 O'Nien (for Maja 61): Only had ten minutes before the game was called off

(not used): Ruiter (gk), Loovens, Ozturk, McGeouch, Sinclair

Man Of The Match: CHRIS MAGUIRE - in extreme conditions it's all about heart and he showed plenty with his charge down for the goal and might have had another.
