HARTLEPOOL UNITED have been handed a home tie in the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup – with two tasty all North-East ties also taking place.
Pools will play either Workington – who beat them in the FA Trophy last season – or Kidsgrove Athletic at the Super 6 Stadium. The sides drew 0-0 on Saturday and Pools’ boss Matthew Bates will watch the replay at Workington on Wednesday evening.
Blyth Spartans will take on York City, while Dunston will take on Gateshead at home. The Northern League side beat Chester 4-3 on Saturday and will take on their National League neighbours.
The ties will be played on the weekend of October 20.
