KENEDY is set to avoid punishment for his kick at Cardiff midfielder Victor Camarasa during Newcastle's goalless draw at the Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday.
The Brazilian was caught on camera aiming a kick at Camarasa midway through the first half of the game.
It had been feared that the Football Association could charge the midfielder with violent conduct, a decision that might have resulted in a three-match ban.
However, it is understood the FA will NOT review the incident, as referee Craig Pawson saw it at the time and opted just to award a free-kick.
Kenedy cannot play in Saturday's game with Chelsea as he is ineligible to face his former club, but he will be available for Newcastle's Carabao Cup game with Nottingham Forest next week.
