Power moves to the Stadium of Light on an initial loan deal until January, with a view to a permanent transfer at the turn of the year.

The deadline-day signing becomes the 12th player to join the Black Cats this summer. Â
The midfielder made over 140 appearances for Wigan during a three-year spell at the DW Stadium, during which time he helped the Latics win two League One titles.
Sunderland boss Jack Ross said: "We wanted another midfielder in the squad and we wanted one who was a little bit different to what we already have.
"Max gives us a little bit more of a presence physically – box to box – and gives us more balance within the squad.
"He’s got very recent experience when it comes to winning and being successful in this league and knows what it takes to get out of it."
Born in Birkenhead, Power started his career with Tranmere Rovers, and made over 100 appearances for the club before joining Wigan in July 2015.
