HARTLEPOOL UNITED (4-3-3):
8 Loach: Magnificent again. When Pools were stuttering through the first half, who was their Mr Dependable?
7 Magnay: Captain led by example and was solid in second half when Pools needed his presence
6 Laing: Stood up in the first half when he was called upon. Conceded a soft penalty towards the end
6 Harrison: Had to be on his toes at the back throughout against busy frontmen
6 Deverdics: Continues to show his stand-in role at left-back may become more permanent;
5 Hawkins: No quite with it on Saturday and was taken off at half-time
6 Featherstone: Steady and assured in the middle of the park, kept Pools ticking along in the manner he does
6 Woods: No heroics this time after a late midweek winner, just a very solid, hard-working shift
6 Rodney: Decent first half when Pools did little attacking-wise and had a couple of sights of goal in the second before tiring
5 Thorne: Found going tough up front and was dominated by Liam Daly as Pools lobbed balls up front
8 Franks: Had one opportunity and took it superbly to make sure Pools came home with the points.
Subs:
Oates (for Thorne 46): Inspired substitution by Harrison, finishing with assurance with first touch 6
Munns (for Hawkins 46): What an introduction, setting up Oates instantly and delivered late free-kick ahead of winner 7
Adams (for Rodney 77)
(not used): Simpson, Richardson
SOLIHULL MOORS (4-4-2): Vaughan, Green, Daly, Kelleher, Murombedzi, Carter, Caline, Richards, McDonald (Liburd 63), Campbell, Afolayan (Brodie 53). Subs (not used): Bannister, Kettle. Cleary
MAN OF THE MATCH Scott Loach – tough choice given the lads up top, but keeper made a number of key saves.
