SUNDERLAND have announced the final pre-season friendly of their six-day summer trip to Scotland.
The Black Cats, who are still to appoint a managerial successor to David Moyes, will take on Scottish Premier League side St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park on Saturday, July 15 (3pm).
They have already announced matches at Hibernian on Sunday, July 9 and Livingston on Wednesday, July 12.
Sunderland’s pre-season programme will begin with a five-day training camp in Austria, with their first match outing taking them to Bury’s Gigg Lane on Friday, July 7.
They have confirmed two more domestic matches – at Bradford City on Saturday, July 22 and Scunthorpe United on Wednesday, July 26 – and will round off their pre-season schedule with a home game at the Stadium of Light that will mark the 20th anniversary of the club’s move to the stadium from Roker Park.
