GRAEME STORM remains in contention at the Alfred Dunhill Links after posting a second sub-par round on the east coast of Scotland.
Storm, who carded a three-under 69 on Thursday, went one better when he played Kingsbarns on Friday with an impressive 68.
That was enough to take his total to seven-under and that sees him hit the weekend just four shots adrift of leaders Jimmy Mullen and Anthony Wall.
Storm’s performance, just a week after finishing second at the European Open, included a bogey at the 14th but he will not be too concerned about that going in to the third round and with his Tour playing rights for 2016 already in the bag.
Barnard Castle’s Rob Dinwiddie, who has also secured his card for next year, has also made the cut. He is three shots shy of Storm after shooting three-under in his second round at Carnoustie, while Harrogate’s John Parry is identically placed after his 70 at St Andrews.
