ALL three North-East clubs remaining in the Capital One Cup were drawn at home in the third round - with Sunderland facing a tough test against in form Manchester City.
Middlesbrough were the first team out of the hat and will play fellow Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Newcastle will play Sheffield Wednesday, currently sitting tenth in the Championship.
The ties will be played in the week commencing September 21.
