MIDDLESBROUGH new boy Lee Tomlin has had his loan spell converted into a permanent deal - without the midfielder having kicked a ball for his new club.
Tomlin was a transfer deadline-day signing from League One side Peterborough United, but has yet to play for Boro after serving a three-match ban incurred while at London Road.
The attacking midfielder has put pen to paper on a three-and-a-half year contract and will make his debut on Saturday against Leeds United at the Riverside Stadium.
