YOHAN Cabaye misses out this afternoon as Newcastle United take on Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium.
Cabaye injured his groin in the first half of Thursday night's Europa League win over Anzhi Makhchakala and has not recovered in time to line up against the Latics.
His place goes to Sylvain Marveaux in the only change to the side that secured a 2-1 win over Stoke in Newcastle's last league outing seven days ago.
Marveaux is expected to start in an attacking midfield role behind lone striker Papiss Cisse, with Jonas Gutierrez dropping back to play alongside Cheik Tiote at the base of midfield.
