I AM writing to you with a request for volunteers to give us an hour and support our Great Daffodil Appeal in March.
We have collections taking place across the area in local supermarkets and in town centres and urgently require collectors to raise vital funds that will provide care for terminally ill patients in their own homes.
The Great Daffodil Appeal is Marie Curie Cancer Care’s biggest fundraiser and encourages everyone to give a donation and wear a daffodil pin in March in support of their local Marie Curie nurses.
Collecting is always great fun and very rewarding.
You meet some lovely people and you know you will be making a difference with every pound that goes in the pot and that the donations you collect will help terminally ill people in the local area.
