WHAT a wonderful chance the environmentalists have missed.
Why use expensive fossil fuelled BMWs when there are much more environmentally friendly electric cars?
They have been much hyped by the Government and many other non-users.
Why not use them for the majority of the short runs undertaken by Government Ministers?
I’m sure this idea would be welcomed by all Cabinet Ministers, especially the Prime Minister.
They could even be used by MPs who live within commuting distance of Parliament.
Or maybe the thought of not being able to use heaters, sirens, blue lights etc, for fear of the dreaded battery drain is a drawback.
As electric cars are as much use as a chocolate fire guard to the average motorist, I guess the same thought has occurred to them.
