I READ with interest the obituary you published about Ethna Campbell (Echo, Sept 26) and was disappointed that the focus was on a difficult period in her life.
I want to tell everyone who didn’t know Ethna that she overcame her problems and was a very charming, astute and wonderful companion to her many friends at Age UK Darlington and especially to me.
