WHILE having sympathy for the family of murdered rapist Mitchell Dean Harrison, the statement that he didn’t deserve to die gave me pause for thought (Echo, Oct 4).
Whether death is “deserved”
or not has been debated through courts and Parliament for years.
One thing that needs no debate is that Harrison’s young victims certainly didn’t deserve to be indecently assaulted or raped and will suffer scars for the rest of their lives.
On the merits of who deserves whatever, can I say some are more deserving than others.
