I CAN’T say I am a fan of the new game show Red or Black. To me, it’s boring and just a game of pure luck.
There are no questions, no skill and no tasks for the contestants to perform. Just pick red or black to win £1m. Any child of about five could do that.
Half of the show reminds me of It’s a Knockout and it only starts to get interesting in the last few minutes when the final contestant is asked the very difficult question: “Red or black?”.
Then the big wheel starts to go round and we watch with bated breath which segment the ball falls in. If the contestant guesses correctly they win a million. A very lucky way to win.
