TALKING to a friend of mine recently, who can only walk a short way because of chronic back trouble, he explained about the procedure for obtaining a blue disabled car parking disc (or sticker).
After he had finished, I thought to myself, it does seem unnecessarily complicated. In fact, I concluded that bureaucracy and red tape has gone mad.
Surely, if a partly-disabled carowner is vouched for by their own doctor and given a medical certificate that person should just be able to go to their local council office and get a blue disabled car disc?
Am I wrong in my stated opinion?
Perhaps I am missing something and somebody out there can help me on this matter?
