POLITICIANS are a lot cleverer than I give them credit for. The fuel duty fiasco is beyond belief – it has been sold to us in a way that is supposed to make motorists feel good.
Chancellor George Osborne and MP Michael Fallon state that the price of fuel has actually fallen by 6p per litre when you take into consideration that they have cancelled the 5p per litre rise due in April and knocked 1p a litre off in the budget.
So, therefore, all you motorists out there can start booking up for holidays in Hawaii with the money that you are saving from this fantastic “deal”. This Government has conned you yet again.
The Tories’ reputation remains intact – heartless.
