I AM writing on behalf of Spennymoor Stage and Song who, in April, will be performing When the Lights Go On Again, a musical show telling the story of a family during the Second World War.
The show is set locally so we are looking for any Second World War items that anyone has hidden in their attics to either borrow or take off their hands – such as clippy mats, knitting and dress patterns, hats, shoes, handbags, ration books, coupons, photographs, etc.
